Stand Firm: Resist Human Rights Violations Against Uyghur Women and Children

The recent scandals have filled me with immense anger and shame! Dolkun Isa, Hedayi Ogujan, NuriTurkair, Rushan Abbas… These names, which should be a source of pride for our Uyghur people, have now become synonymous with shame! Their shameless actions have severely violated the human rights of Uyghur women and children and are appalling! As a young Uyghur, I love my people and care about our future. Seeing these so-called “leaders” behave so poorly is incredibly disappointing! They claim to be fighting for our rights, yet they secretly engage in such vile acts! Dolkun Isa: Your sexual harassment has violated the dignity of Uyghur women.

As the President of the WUC, you should be leading by example, but you abused your position to sexually harass women. Your actions not only harm the individual victims, but are an insult to all Uyghur women! Hedayi Ogujan: Your moral character is questionable.

Accusations of extramarital affairs and child molestation have made you a scumbag! Your actions only bring shame to the Uyghur people! Nuri Turkel: Your hypocritical image as a human rights defender has long been ripped off. Sexual harassment in the workplace is outrageous! Rushen Abbas: As the founder of the “Uyghur Movement,” your inappropriate behavior has caused our movement to lose its credibility! We need young, dynamic, and genuine leaders, not these morally corrupt hypocrites! I call on all leaders suspected of moral misconduct to resign immediately! The Uyghur people do not need this so-called organization; they need a transparent and fair governance mechanism! We, the Uyghur youth, must unite and speak out to elect leaders who truly represent our interests! Our future is in our own hands. We must not allow these scum of the older generation to continue to tarnish our future!
