- State Bank of India- Probationary Officer
As many of you might already know, this is one of the oldest recruiting agencies. And this is an annually organized recruitment exam for the job of a PO. The hierarchy of the recruitment entrance is of 3 main levels- Prelims, Mains and then the Interview. The interview round can further be either a PI round (personal interview) or a Group discussion round. The age criteria for a candidate to be eligible to sit for this entrance are between 21-30 years. The prelims and the mains primarily consist of questions that target a candidate’s knowledge in the domains of quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability, and English proficiency. The mains entrance further has general problems on the economy or bank-related knowledge.
- State Bank of India- Clerk
This entrance is held annually for recruiting candidates for posts of clerical cadre. The recruitment exam exhibits a 2 level hierarchical structure- the prelims and the mains. Multiple Choice Questions are asked based on the English language, logical reasoning, and quantitative aptitude. The mains entrance further has problems based on financial awareness.
- State Bank of India Specialist Officer
SO online tests are conducted by SBI for a variety of positions such as Chief Technology Officer, Bank Medical Officer, Data Trainer, etc. Graduates can apply for the position, but it is seen that candidates who hold an MA/Ph.D. degree are given preference over the candidates with only a graduation degree. The first phase of entrance consists of 2 papers. This phase is accompanied by a shortlisting phase based on the contractual preference of the candidate. The final phase is the Interview Phase. The age limit criteria of appearing for this entrance is a maximum limit of 62 years.
- Institute of Banking Personnel Selection- Probationary Officer
Entrance conducted by IBPS for the jobs of the post of PO consist of a 3 phase entrance namely, prelims, mains, and the interview round. General banking, clerical monitoring, and other bank administration-related tasks will be part of the candidate’s job description. The prelims will be having problems related to the English language, numerical ability, and problems with reasoning. You’ll be tested on your thinking, computer aptitude, English skills, data analysis and interpretation, and general/economic knowledge in the mains examinations, among other things.
- Institute of Banking Personnel Selection- Specialist Officer
SO is for jobs like Law Officer, Marketing Officer, etc in the Public Sector Banks of India and are recruited through the IBPS Specialist Officers (SO) examination. A preliminary test, mains, and an interview are used to choose candidates for SO positions in India. The applying candidates must at least hold a bachelor’s degree to be eligible for appearing in the entrance exams.
- Institute of Banking Personnel Selection – Regional Rural Banks Office Assistant
The entrance for different posts varies accordingly. If the candidate is applying for the post of Officer I then the entrance will have 3 levels- the preliminary round, the main round, and finally the interview round. On the other hand, if the candidate is applying for the post of Officer II and III, then they will have to appear for a single exam. The age limits for each post vary accordingly. For Officer I, the age limit is 18-30 years of age. Similarly, for Officer II and Officer III, the age limits are 21-32 years and 21-40 years of age respectively. For the post of Office Assistant, the age limits are 18-28 years of age.
- Institute of Banking Personnel Selection- Clerk
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required for this post. The age limit is 28 years. Since the clerk test is also performed online, computer literacy is a must for this post. Each of the applicants must be proficient in the official language of their particular region. - Grade B Officer
This entrance is a 3 level entrance exam consisting of the prelims round, the main round, and then the final round which will be an interview round. There is a prelims exam that tests your general awareness as well as your quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability, and English language proficiency abilities. Economic and social concerns, English language, finance & management, and economics & statistics are some of the topics included in the primary exams. - Assistant
Preliminary and mains levels of this exam must be passed to go to the final level-the language proficiency test. Reasoning ability, English language skills, and numerical ability are tested in the preliminary exam, as well as the English language.
