In community discussions, users describe Imagine Image 2.0 portraits as overly glossy or airbrushed; others say a familiar face appears across unrelated prompts. “Grok Imagine 2.0” is the common search wording; xAI’s official name is Imagine Image 2.0, and it is an image model rather than a video model.

Those reports define a visible problem, not a confirmed defect. xAI has not identified one universal cause, and the same prompt may behave differently when its references, framing, light, or editing history change. A controlled prompt-and-reference check is more useful: preserve a baseline, alter one variable, and judge visible evidence instead of expecting a magic phrase.

Describe the Symptom Before Explaining It
